THE USUAL STAGES OF CONSTRUCTION
Preparation Stage– Prepare plans, permits and pay
connection fees, insurance
Base Stage – includes concrete slab, footings, pad
etc.
Framing – wall framed, roof framed.
Lock-up Stage – install windows and doors, roofing,
exterior and insulation
Fixing Stage– Finish Internal fit out: kitchen
cupboards, appliances, bathroom and toilet are all in.
Plumbing and electrics are done. Painted all internal
wall, tiled wet area.
Completion Stage – fences up. Construction finished.
The builders receive their final payment
